Syracuse, NY – The Syracuse City School District plans to buy about 8,100 Yondr pouches for some students to help comply with the new cell phone restrictions in schools, officials said.
The law goes into effect this fall in all school districts. The policy bans cell phones and other smart devices bell-to-bell in public schools, charter schools and BOCES.
