Wawa is spreading its wings across Greater Cincinnati after opening its first Ohio location in Liberty Township last year.
Since 2025, the Pennsylvania-based gas station and food and beverage destination has introduced nearly a dozen stores to the Greater Cincinnati region, including its newest location in Liberty Township, which is set to open March 12. Another location is also set to open in White Oak sometime this year.
The Wawa boom is expected to continue as the store plans to open 60 stores in Ohio over the next five to eight years. So, how many Wawas are in Greater Cincinnati? And where are they located?

Wawa flocks to Liberty Township … again
The newest Wawa coming to Greater Cincinnati is a full-circle moment. The gas station convenience store is expanding in the area where its first Ohio expansion launched in April 2025: Liberty Township.
According to a press release, the newest Liberty Township store marks the first of Wawa’s latest store design in its Midwest market, which includes a “Fly Thru” pickup lane. Customers can order and pay ahead on the Wawa app, then pick up their order without leaving their car.
The gas station chain will give out free coffees until March 15. The first 100 customers will also receive a free T-shirt. Here’s when the location opens.
