At the heart of the celebrations will be the annual Hong Kong WinterFest, running from 14 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, promising festive cheer throughout the city and offering an ideal year-end getaway for families, couples, and groups seeking a vibrant Christmas and New Year experience.
From mid-November, Central will take on a sparkling new identity as “Winter Wonderland in Central” brings an array of festive spectacles to the district. For the first time, iconic buildings in the area will host the “Immersive Light Show in Central”, a multimedia experience that will transform landmark façades into a vast illuminated canvas.

A 20-metre outdoor Christmas tree will tower over a bustling Christmas Town, while nearby Chater Road will be beautifully lit to create a Starlight Boulevard, seamlessly connecting the festive atmosphere with the eagerly anticipated annual installation, “Noëlia at LANDMARK,” inside LANDMARK ATRIUM.

Together with the new ‘Immersive Light Show in Central’, Central will become a brand new festive hotspot. This initiative not only enhances the holiday experience for locals and visitors but also stimulates the seasonal economy. We are grateful for the widespread support from industry partners, including the Quality Tourism Services Association, Hong Kong Retail Management Association, and a wide range of attractions and malls who are joining hands to offer festive dining, shopping deals, and activities.”
Statue Square Garden will once again be transformed into a joyful Christmas Town from 14 November, inviting visitors of all ages to immerse themselves in the charm and wonder of the season. Decorated with colourful toy-inspired elements such as miniature trains, spaceships, and puppets, the town will resemble a festive storybook scene. Throughout December, live carol performances and surprise appearances by Santa Claus will add to the seasonal excitement. From 28 November, a Christmas market featuring 12 festive chalets will serve an array of seasonal treats and offer gifts and creative workshops, making it the perfect place to embrace the holiday spirit. At the heart of the town, a 20-metre Christmas tree wrapped in shimmering ribbons will illuminate the surroundings with its warm festive glow.
The festive ambience will extend onto Chater Road, where more than 30 trees will be adorned with twinkling lights to create a captivating Starlight Boulevard. Elevated walkways will be illuminated, and a striking suspended Christmas tree light installation will appear at the entrance to Chater House. Each evening at 5 pm, the entire stretch will transform into a radiant outdoor Christmas scene.
Just a short walk away, visitors will find “Noëlia at LANDMARK,” a 30-metre-wide installation centred around an 11-metre lighthouse and featuring Hong Kong’s largest interactive 12-by-12-metre Wishing Lake—an ideal spot for festive photographs and memorable moments.
Another major highlight of this year’s WinterFest will be the debut of the “Immersive Lights Show in Central”, running from 28 November. For the first time, eight buildings surrounding Christmas Town will be linked to create a giant multimedia display using 3D projection mapping, lighting effects, and holiday music.
