Charmaine Sheh, one of Hong Kong’s most beloved actresses, recently visited Keng Eng Kee Seafood Restaurant in Singapore, which has been awarded the Michelin Plate for seven consecutive years.

Photos shared on TikTok in late August show the 49-year-old actress wearing a striped Miu Miu polo tee as she poses with Wayne Liew, the head chef and co-owner of the restaurant.

In his TikTok post, Wayne expressed his excitement, mentioning that Sheh is one of his favorite artists.

Keng Eng Kee is renowned for signature dishes including moonlight hor fun, chili crab, prawn paste chicken, black pepper crab, and coffee pork ribs. The restaurant has been recognized with the Michelin Plate, a symbol of quality introduced by the prestigious Michelin Guide, from 2016 to 2023.

Sheh started her entertainment career in 1997 after securing the runner-up position in that year’s Miss Hong Kong pageant. She rose to fame as an actress with TVB, starring in popular TV series “War and Beauty”, “Beyond the Realm of Conscience”, and “Forensic Heroes”.

After leaving TVB in 2016, Sheh established Charmaine Sheh Workshop Limited and expanded her career in China, gaining widespread acclaim with the 2018 TV series “Story of Yanxi Palace”. In 2023, she made her return to TVB, starring in “The Queen of News” and earning her third Best Actress accolade at the TVB Awards.
