NFL Pro Era (developed by StatusPRO) is the first licensed NFL virtual reality simulation game. It’s available on Android XR, but you can also play it on a Meta Quest, PlayStation VR and on Windows.
Inside [JOB] (developed by Owlchemy Labs) is a mixed-reality experience that introduces users to Android XR interactions. Owlchemy Labs also has several other Android XR-compatible titles: Vacation Simulator, Job Simulator and Dimensional Doubleshift.
Samsung’s headset – known as “Project Moohan” for now but likely to be announced as the “Samsung Galaxy XR” – is the first Android XR device. The platform natively supports a variety of form factors and so does Unity 6.
“Unity’s support of Android XR made it really easy for us to get started. We were able to bring some of our biggest games to Android XR in about a week, which helped us reach more players without a ton of extra work. That time savings also let us build something completely new with Inside [JOB],” said Andrew Eiche, CEO of Owlchemy Labs.
