The one call to Gruber Law Offices will soon ring at another downtown Milwaukee office tower.
The personal injury law firm is moving from the 100 East tower, 100 E. Wisconsin Ave., which is being converted to apartments, to the 411 East Wisconsin Center, 411 E. Wisconsin Ave.
That’s according to a new building permit application filed with the city Department of Neighborhood Services. It outlines plans for renovations on the 411 East Wisconsin Center’s 19th floor to accommodate Gruber Law Offices.
The law firm is leasing 22,490 square feet, according to the permit application. The firm has more than 120 professional staff and attorneys, according to its website.
David Gruber, known for his “One call, that’s all!” advertising catch phrase, couldn’t be immediately reached for more information about when that move will occur, and why he chose that office tower.
Gruber Law Offices is among a few office tenants remaining at 100 East. It was sold for nearly $29 million in 2023 to developers with plans to convert it into around 380 apartments.
The firm’s new home is known for its anchor tenant, the Quarles & Brady law firm, which has a rooftop sign. Another law firm, von Briesen & Roper, also has a large exterior sign at the building.
