A new series of the Channel 4 programme started on Friday, September 5, and continued last night.
Five new groups have been welcomed to the Gogglebox family, documenting their reactions to a range of TV shows from their homes.
Following the latest episode, fans of the show have once again been wishing that one popular couple stayed put for the new series.
Gogglebox fans beg for popular couple to return to show
This summer, Roisin Kelly and Joe Kyle revealed they would not be returning to Gogglebox for series 26.
In the announcement, they said they “couldn’t be more grateful”, adding that it had been “an honour” to represent Scotland.
The couple based in Glasgow were the first Scottish cast members to join the show in six years when they made their debut in February 2022.
However, devastated fans have taken to social media during the latest episode, wishing they would come back.
One fan, sharing a picture of the couple, said: “Please, gogglebox, bring these two legends back.”
Another fan also shared an image of the couple saying: “I miss these two.”

A third wrote: “So we lost Roisin and Joe for these new pairings because?”
A fourth person said: “Joe and Roisin need to come back. The new Scottish women are cringe and contrived.”
Other pairs called to return included Steph and Dom, as well as Mica and Marcus.
As well as missing old faces, others are still not on board with the new additions.
One fan wrote: “There is a lot of desperate overacting from the new peeps, making it less authentic. If it wasn’t broken, why ‘fix’ it?”
A second said: “The two new couples on Gogglebox are dreadful. Just irritating and contrived.”

They are:
- Friends Jake (27) and Calum (31) from Glasgow
- The Gordon family, made up of Andre (49), Sarah (47) and their daughter Chee (25) from Surrey
- Married couple Andrew (62) and Alfie (32) from the Cotswolds
- Mother and daughter-in-law, Sara (87) and Lara (58) from Yorkshire
- Sisters Rosie (68) and Susie (70) from Edinburgh

The newcomers have joined regular groups on the show, which include Jenny and Lee, The Siddiquis, The Malones and Giles and Mary.
Ellie and Izzi also returned to the programme along with David and Shirley, the Plummers, Amira and Amani and the Worthingtons.
Gogglebox airs every Friday at 9pm on Channel 4 and All 4.
