Full list of Sky channel changes taking place this week

Changes are constantly being made to the Sky TV Guide on Sky+, Sky Q and Sky Glass/Stream, including rebrands, the launch of new channels, or the removal of existing ones.

This week (November 10 to 16), Sky is set to make 23 changes, including re-introduction of Disney Jr.

The Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior were removed from all UK TV services back in October 2020, with all content moved over to Disney+.

Five years on, and Disney Jr. is making a return to Sky, while also remaining on Disney+.

Programmes on Disney Jr include:

  • Bluey
  • Iron Man and His Awesome Friends
  • Spidey and His Amazing Friends
  • The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
  • Bear in the Big Blue House
  • Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
  • Jake and the Never Land Pirates
  • Muppet Babies
  • And more…

Full list of channel changes on Sky this week

Three channel changes have already taken place this week, according to the Sky Community website :

Monday (November 10)

  • ​Sky Transformers reverts to Sky Action HD (channel 307)
  • Sky Pitch Perfect HD   reverts to​ Sky Comedy HD (channel 308) 

Tuesday (November 11)

  • ​Clubland temporarily renames to NOW XMAS (channel 354)

There are a further 20 changes taking place on Thursday and Friday (November 13 and 14):

Thursday (November 13)

  • Disney Jr HD launches on channel 625  ( on Satellite) and 204   (Sky Glass and Sky Stream)

Sky Glass and Sky Stream only (satellite unaffected): 

  • Nickelodeon HD moves from channel 204 to 205 (UK and Republic of Ireland)
  • Nicktoons moves from 205 to 206 (UK and ROI)
  • Nick Jr. HD moves from 206 to 207 (UK and ROI)
  • Nick Jr. Too moves from 207 to 208 (UK and ROI)
  • Cartoon Network HD moves from 208 to 209 (UK only)
  • Boomerang HD moves from 209 to 210 (UK only)

Sky Live to stop work in the coming weeks

Meanwhile, Sky announced recently that Sky Live had been discontinued and will stop working in the coming weeks.

Sky Live launched in the UK in June 2023, described as an interactive camera that would bring “exciting new ways to share your favourite TV with family and friends”.

Now, just two years later, Sky has announced that the “clever entertainment device” has been discontinued and will stop working on December 4.

How to claim Sky Live refund

Sky has confirmed that customers are entitled to a refund “for the value that they have paid towards their Sky Live device”.

No action is necessary, and the payment will automatically be sent to the direct debit linked to users’ Sky account.


RECOMMENDED READING:


For those who paid in full, the money will be returned to the card used to purchase within three weeks of Tuesday, November 4).

You do not need to return your Sky Live camera to receive a refund.

Customers will still be able to use their Sky Live cameras up until December 4.

After this date, Sky Live will close, and the product will no longer be supported.
