European fashion brand Jack & Jones is making its debut in the United States with two stores, including one at the Freehold Raceway Mall.
The second store will be at Danbury Fair Mall in Connecticut.
Both locations will feature Jack & Jones, a menswear brand founded in Denmark, and JJXX, its women’s fashion line.
The store openings mark the first phase of the company’s U.S. expansion, with more locations planned.
Freehold mall officials hope the store will open early next year.
Jack & Jones started as a denim-focused menswear label and has grown into an international retailer operating more than 4,000 stores worldwide.
The brand offers collections including denim, tailoring, casual wear, urban sportswear, and accessories.
JJXX, the women’s fashion line, delivers “bold, contemporary styles with a focus on high-quality denim and versatile wardrobe essentials, giving women the tools to express their individuality with confidence.”
Anders Gam, brand director of Jack & Jones, said the U.S. has always been an important fashion market for the company.
“We’re excited to introduce our unique blend of denim expertise and accessible fashion,” Gam said in a statement. “We can’t wait to meet the U.S. consumers and share what Jack & Jones is all about — great denim, on-trend fashion, and prices that make it easy to keep your style fresh,” Gam said in a statement.
Eric Bunyan, senior vice president of leasing at Macerich, the real estate company that owns Freehold Raceway Mall, said the brands bring fresh energy to the shopping centers.
“Their focus on quality, style, and versatile fashion perfectly complements the shopping experience our guests expect,” Bunyan said in a statement.
