A car left the roadway on US-50 on Monday, sending the driver down an embankment.
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Division, they responded to the report of a crash around 11:30 a.m.
Authorities say a preliminary investigation indicates the car was traveling eastbound on US-50 when it crossed into the eastbound lanes before going down the embankment.
The driver, the only occupant, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
US-50 remains open, but a travel lane may close temporarily when a tow truck arrives. Drivers should expect delays.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and authorities say impairment is not suspected.
This is a developing story, and updates will be provided if they become available.
