In early trading on Thursday, shares of Amazon.com topped the list of the day’s best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 3.5%. Year to date, Amazon.com registers a 6.6% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Salesforce, trading down 7.7%. Salesforce is lower by about 29.2% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are UnitedHealth Group, trading down 0.6%, and Travelers Companies, trading up 1.0% on the day.
