Stock futures rose early Monday, as investors look ahead to the release of delayed economic reports and earnings from artificial-intelligence bellwether Nvidia.
The Federal Aviation Administration said Sunday it would lift flight restrictions related to the government shutdown on Monday morning. The move will clear the way for normal operations to resume at airports after weeks of disruption.
The delayed jobs report for September is due Thursday. Other data due this week includes monthly industrial production and home sales.
Treasury yields edged below 4.13%.
Overseas, South Korea’s Kospi index rallied after the nation’s largest conglomerates, including Samsung, pledged billions of dollars in domestic investments.
The Nikkei 225 was little changed after the Japanese economy contracted for the first time in six quarters.
