Gianluigi Donnarumma is increasingly likely to be sold this summer, as Paris Saint-Germain do not want to lose the Italy international for free and are frustrated by contract talks.

The situation has been dragging on for over a year with absolutely no progress, and there is no more time to waste because his current deal expires at the end of this season.

According to L’Equipe, PSG chiefs are determined not to get into a similar scenario as the one that saw them lose Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid last year.

This inevitably means they need to sell Donnarumma this season, and plans are being made to find his replacement in the form of Lucas Chevalier.

There is no shortage of clubs lining up to sign the Italian, who is after all only 26 years of age and fresh from winning the Champions League.

Inter and Juventus would be the likely destinations in Italy, but the Premier League is more probable with Chelsea particularly eager to snap him up.

They would also be capable of matching the €12m per season salary that he currently commands in Paris.
