Hong Kong police have launched an investigation after a man and his two young children were found unconscious in a flat in Yau Ma Tei, with a knife found at the scene.
The case came to light at around 3.15pm on Wednesday when a mother contacted authorities after receiving a call from a tuition centre about her eight-year-old son’s unexplained absence.
She went to the flat on Canton Road and found the unconscious family members.
Emergency responders arrived and firefighters forced entry into the flat.
The man, his eight-year-old son and three-year-old daughter were unconscious and had reportedly sustained injuries.
Blood was found at the scene and a knife was seized.
