DAYTONA BEACH — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place early Saturday.
Investigators say they received a call at 12:18 a.m. about a large fight at Forest Glen Boulevard and Oak Tree Circle, which is located just west of Nova Road between Beville Road and International Speedway Boulevard.
When officers arrived, they found a man fatally shot.
Detectives have identified a person of interest, but no details have been provided or if that person might face charges. Police said there is currently no threat to public safety connected to the shooting.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Daytona Beach Police Department.
