After the weekend’s historic snow, December and Meteorological Winter begins with more chances for accumulation.
Clouds will fill the sky through Monday morning and early afternoon, keeping conditions gray and cold with wind chills in the single digits.
Snow is expected to move in early in the afternoon and become widespread as the day goes on. The heaviest snowfall is slated for around 5 p.m., which could lead to slow and slippery commutes.
High temperatures will reach the upper 20s, keeping the snow in place.
Light to moderate snow will continue into Monday night before tapering off in the overnight hours. Most areas can expect 1-4”.

Tuesday starts out again with single-digit wind chills and temps in the teens. Partly sunny with highs in the mid-20s.
We’re up to almost freezing on Wednesday with clouds and snow showers.
A second temperature plunge for the end of the week. Thursday morning looks like the coldest all week with air temps in the single digits and sub-zero wind chills. Highs on Thursday get up to the mid 20s.
Friday could crack that freezer door after a morning low of 12… and get a few areas above freezing with a high of 33 for a few hours.
