An iconic red phonebox is on sale in London – and it could be the capital’s cheapest property.

The Grade II-listed building, located in Winchmore Hill, north London, is on the market for £10k.

Sellers Strettons say the building could be used for advertising or turned into a host of businesses, including a coffee shop or gallery.

The auction house is also selling four phone boxes for a combined £28k in the middle of Enfield, north London.

Both lots will be headed to auction on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 12:00 pm, and Strettons say there has already been a lot of interest.

Surveyor Robert Woolfe said: “These telephone boxes represent an iconic symbol of British history and are well known for their classic appearance.

“Both lots are well located in popular areas and may suit a variety of potential uses (subject to planning) such as advertising, coffee shop, ice cream, florist, vending machine or even a mini art gallery!

“Both lots are proving popular since being recently launched and it will be exciting to see what happens at the Auction.”
