China’s anti-corruption campaign urges officials to prevent ‘lying flat’

Chinese leader Xi Jinping is intensifying anti-corruption efforts, but many officials hesitate to take action out of fear of punishment. To help motivate officials to revive the stagnant economy, Xi has conveyed a message that some mistakes are acceptable.
