BEIJING (Reuters) – China plans in 2027 to test the next generation of Beidou, the country’s answer to the U.S.-owned GPS navigation system, state broadcaster CCTV reported on Thursday.
The rollout of the new system, expected to be complete by 2035, will provide users with more precise, real-time navigation, according to CCTV.
