At the end of the show on October 16, Traitors Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns and Alan Carr revealed in the castle’s turret that they would murder either Welsh singer Charlotte Church, TV historian David Olusoga or TV presenter Kate Garraway, with Alan remarking the murder will “rock the boat”.
But in the end, the remaining Faithfuls gathered round the breakfast table once more to find out that Charlotte had been eliminated in episode five.

After opening the dreaded letter signed by the Traitors, she said: “I thought I was going to be murdered, I’m outspoken at the roundtable, I’m outspoke with my opinions.”
She added: “Well played Traitors”.

Ruth’s murder came after she raised her suspicions about Jonathon being a Traitor during Wednesday’s (October 15) episode.

Speaking about her exit, she said: “I was murdered definitely because I was a threat to the Traitors.
“I was one of the few people in the group that had my own mind that couldn’t be influenced.
“I’m mentally extremely strong and stubborn. I really do wish the Faithfuls the best of luck.”
