Prada took on the task of dressing five celebrities for the 2025 Oscars, delivering a mix of classic tailoring, bold accessories, and—well, some choices that left me scratching my head. From underwhelming glamour to bold menswear moments, let’s dive in.
Red, but Not Radiant
Am I alone in thinking that Gal Gadot deserved so much more than this red strapless Prada gown? For someone with her striking presence, this felt surprisingly underwhelming. Her style has taken a noticeable turn since parting ways with Elizabeth Stewart, and unfortunately, this is yet another glowing example. The colour is classic, the silhouette is safe, and overall, it’s just… there. This could’ve been worn to literally any event, and I wouldn’t bat an eyelid.

A Nod to the Past
Sebastian Stan’s custom Prada black shawl-collar tuxedo had a touch of retro charm, thanks to the pale-yellow shirt and a cummerbund. I love the vintage flair injected into his otherwise sleek ensemble.
Styled by Michael Fisher.

The Scarf Stays On
Jeff Goldblum is fully committed to his scarf era, and honestly? I respect it. After a green scarf moment at the SAG Awards, he switched things up with a lilac version wtih this custom Prada suit. The ivory jacket provided the perfect backdrop for his standout boutonnière from Pretend Plants & Flowers, but the real star of the show? That multi-coloured jacquard shirt. Only Jeff could make this combination feel effortless and cool. He rounded out the look with Jacques Marie Mage glasses and a Vacheron Constantin timepiece, proving once again that his style game is on another level.
Styled by Andrew T. Vottero.

Sharp and Sophisticated
Keith Powers may not have gone as bold as Jeff, but he still made an impact in a Prada tuxedo. The rich velvet jacket provided the perfect contrast to his wool trousers, offering a sleek, timeless look that felt right at home on the Oscars red carpet.
Styled by Jason Bolden.

Classic Prada Menswear
Willem Dafoe kept things straightforward in a Prada black wool tuxedo. It was classic, it was expected, and it got the job done.
