Here is a roundup from the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards which took place on Saturday.
Pretty in Pink
Aidy Bryant looked ever so charming in her Naya Rea organza dress in the prettiest shade of pink. The floral accent at the neckline added a touch of whimsy, making this a delightful choice for the beachside ceremony. It’s sweet, it’s fun, and it feels very Aidy.

Rare W for Grey
Usually, I’m not the biggest fan of the colour grey, but the design of Alana Haim’s Louis Vuitton jersey knit two-piece gown with sash detail sold the look to me. It’s effortlessly cool, with white gold and diamond Ombre Blossom earrings and ring from the Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry collection completing her look.

Golden Girl
It’s safe to say that Amy Adams’ looks for her Nightbitch press tour weren’t all that memorable, but the gold floral appliqués on her U-shaped Carolina Herrera Fall 2025 jacket ensured she stood out on this red carpet. This is classic Amy—elegant.

Wrapped in Elegance
Cristin Milioti can add brown to the list of dark hues that work so well for her. Danielle Frankel, known as a bridal designer, created the most heavenly draped strapless dress for the actress. The richness of the fabric and the softness of the draping made this a standout moment.

Gloves or No Gloves?
I know what you’re thinking—did Danielle Deadwyler really need those armpit-length gloves that we saw on the Carolina Herrera Fall 2025 runway to an event by the beach? They do feel a little OTT for the occasion, granted. But she still totally sold the look to me with her poise and confidence.

Springtime Chic
I’m sure some will feel that this Erdem lace dress is a little aging for Elizabeth Olsen, but I’m just happy for the springtime vibes and the complementary styling with the nude pumps. The B.P. De Silva jewels were a delicate finishing touch.

Caped and Confident
Jessica Gunning wore a custom Gabriela Hearst navy cape gown, and I have to say, there’s something about a cape that always feels grand. It was a sleek and sophisticated moment that suited her well.

Fashion Déjà Vu
If Julianne Moore’s The Row dress is giving you déjà vu, it’s because it’s similar to the one Ariana Grande wore last year. But Julianne made it her own with those cat-eye shades and statement earrings, breathing new life into this minimalist masterpiece.

Marvel-ous Moment
Lily Gladstone looked like she just stepped out of a Marvel movie with this Tibi dress styled with the same Agnes Seaweed Wisden rose gold breastplate she wore to the 2024 Emmys. It’s giving superhero elegance, and I’m here for it.

Architectural Fashion
Moeka Hoshi wore a Balmain Spring 2025 dress, which, thanks to the exaggerated hips, is making me think of Emma Stone’s SNL:50 Louis Vuitton dress, sans popcorn. The sculptural nature of the piece makes it an interesting fashion moment.

Lace Meets Attitude
This Rochas Spring 2025 dress works on Natasha Lyonne because the lining is close to her skin tone, giving the lace an ethereal effect rather than feeling too heavy. Nikos Koulis jewelry completed her look along with a Rochas belt, and platform shoes to give the look a modern edge.

Vintage Meets Modern
Nava Mau played up the charm of her strapless Tanner Fletcher pinstripe and lace gown with lace gloves and platform heels. It’s giving old Hollywood with a contemporary twist, and it suits her to perfection.

Minimalist Elegance
Ruth Negga kept things simple in a black Prada dress styled with a statement necklace from Tabayer jewelry.

Desert Goddess
Ryan Destiny was serving up desert-of-the-dunes realness in this custom Off-White™ suede long backless dress with suede cuffs. The muted tones and fluid silhouette made this an effortlessly sultry moment.

Shimmer and Shine
Sonequa Martin-Green wore a beautiful iridescent off-the-shoulder Khoon Hooi Gianna dress styled with B.P. De Silva Lovedrop pearl earrings. The pink embellished pumps were a fun addition, injecting a little extra personality into the look.
