政務司司長陳國基表示，香港要歡迎不同類型的旅客，不應只局限於高消費客群。他又舉例學生旅客雖然消費力不高，但如果他們對香港留下好印象，日後再次來港旅遊時可能成為高消費旅客，亦可能會選擇來港升學，甚至畢業後留港工作，對香港的貢獻可以很大。 陳國基出席一個電台節目時又說，今年「五一黃金周」整體訪港旅客有110萬人次，按年上升兩成二，遠多於原本預計的一成增長；酒店入住率普遍達到9成，成績相當好。 陳國基說，由他領導的節慶安排跨部門工作小組提前檢視公共交通服務和景觀安排，其中萬宜水庫東壩增加小巴班次後，整體順暢，旅客不用排長龍等車，日後亦會考慮使用觀光電瓶車等不同方法接載遊客。 他又說，當局亦與旅行團協調，安排團友分散在不同時段用膳和到景點參觀，未來會研究運用更多科技協助，並密切留意內地社交媒體動向，掌握旅客喜歡到哪些景點。 至於之前的《施政報告》宣布提出在香港島建造全長60公里的環島長廊，陳國基預計，兩、三內會建好9成，將可為市民和旅客提供更多休閒空間。 Source link
