Family Treatsize Packs contain various Cadbury chocolates, including Crunchie, Twirl and Fudge bars.

However, the confectionery company has confirmed that packs this year will be different from those released in 2024, with three chocolates axed.

The Chomp, Flake and Curly Wurly bars have all been removed from Cadbury’s Family Treatsize Packs in 2025, replaced by Freddos and Buttons.

On top of that, instead of 14 chocolates, there will only be 12 in packs this year.

A spokesperson from Mondelēz International (Cadbury owners) explained the decision to “update” the assortment of chocolates Family Treatsize packs was due to “changing consumer taste buds”.

The Mondelēz International spokesperson said: “We’re always listening to our Cadbury fans to ensure we’re continuously improving our range and reflecting changing consumer taste buds.

“Following extensive fan feedback, we’ve made the decision to update the assortment of individual chocolates included in our Family Treatsize packs to include a delicious selection of Cadbury Freddos, Twirl, Fudge and Crunchie bars, and our tasty treatsize Buttons, swapping out our Chomp, Flake and Curly Wurly bars, to offer our fans more of their favourite chocolates to share with family and friends.

“Although the Cadbury Family Treatsize Pack may now contain fewer bars, the change to the assortment means the overall weight of the product has increased.”

Cadbury Family Treatsize Pack has proved popular over the years.

One shopper, writing a review on the Sainsbury’s website, said: “Cadbury chocolate is the best chocolate ever and it is so good having a variety treatsize.

Another added: “Very tasty always a treat gave to friends and family.”

While a third person commented: “Just enough chocolate taste in a treatsize without all the calories of a full bar. A great aid for us chocoholics to get through a diet.”
