Bryan Mbeumo can repeat his Premier League debut for Brentford for Manchester United, it has lined up perfectly

Manchester United fans are excited to see Bryan Mbeumo in action after joining the club from Brentford.

Ruben Amorim is set to embark on his first full season as Manchester United head coach.

After enjoying success at Sporting CP, Amorim experienced a difficult first six months at the club.

United lost the Europa League final and finished 15th in the Premier League, meaning there will be no Champions League football at Old Trafford for a second consecutive season.

Ineos will hope their recruitment this summer helps Amorim get better results on the pitch.

Matheus Cunha joined from Wolves before Diego Leon arrived from Cerro Porteno.

Now, United fans can look forward to Bryan Mbeumo featuring in Amorim’s attack next season.

United completed a £65m deal to sign Mbeumo from Brentford, which means United have at least two new attacking players ahead of the new campaign to address the problems that exist in front of goal.

Mbeumo will be aiming to hit the ground running at United.

Bryan Mbeumo could repeat Premier League debut vs Arsenal

Mbeumo has been playing in the Premier League for Brentford since their return to the top-flight in the 2021/22 season.

Since then, the Cameroon international has established himself as one of the best attacking players in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old will be aiming to replicate his Premier League debut when United open the 2025/26 season with a home clash against Arsenal.

In August 2021, Mbeumo made his first appearance in the Premier League as Brentford beat Arsenal 2-0.

He started the game up front alongside Ivan Toney, but the goals came from Sergi Canos and Christian Nørgaard.

Mbeumo could repeat his Premier League debut if United secure three points against Mikel Arteta’s side.

United have a difficult start to the season, but it would help if the new signings could hit the ground running.

Mbeumo’s record against Arsenal

Since Brentford’s promotion to the Premier League, Mbeumo has faced Arsenal on eight occasions, including one tie in the Carabao Cup.

The Cameroon international will take on Arsenal for the first time as a United player on 17 August.

Mbeumo will be looking to score on his debut to add to his one-goal tally against the Gunners.

He has only been on the winning side against Arsenal once, but he will have fond memories – opening the season with a victory over the Gunners four years ago.

It will be a feeling he will be desperate to repeat.
