This new run of Michael Frayn’s multi-award-winning play portrays a failing theatre company, ensuring audiences see a range of hilarious mishaps from a last-minute rehearsal to a silent performance, eventually leading to a final performance steeped in chaos.
The play, produced by New Wolsey Theatre Ipswich, Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch, Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg, and A Theatre by the Lake, is directed by Douglas Rintoul.
Performances began on Wednesday, June 25 at 7.30pm and extend to Saturday, July 26.
In addition to the general audience, organisers have scheduled performances for those with specific needs, including Audio Described, Captioned, BSL Interpreted, and Relaxed or Dementia-friendly showings.
Tickets can be purchased from the Theatre by the Lake website.
