Netanyahu prays at western wall for IDF, Gaza hostages – and Donald Trump
On Sunday evening, 22 June 2025, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara visited the Western Wall in Jerusalem to offer prayers for the safety of IDF soldiers, Israeli security forces, and hostages held in Gaza. Netanyahu also prayed for U.S. President Donald Trump, praising his support during Israel’s military operations in Iran. Following tradition, the Prime Minister placed a handwritten note in the wall reading: “A people has risen up as a lion – Am Yisrael chai!”
