At the 2025 Kering in Motion Awards—an event celebrating women in film and power players behind the scenes—it was only fitting that the fashion matched the message: strong, intentional, and exquisitely curated. And on Sunday, Bottega Veneta got the memo, dressing two women who could not be more different in their style sensibilities, yet both carried off their looks with presence.
Power suit? More like power move
Julianne Moore, back for round two in custom Bottega Veneta, proved that simplicity done right is anything but boring. Dressed in a classic black suit—sharp in silhouette but soft in its minimalism—she let the accessories speak volumes. Black Bottega Veneta Rocket mules, plus she carried the original 1977 Lauren bag worn by Lauren Hutton in American Gigolo. That’s fashion heritage. Add in a dash of sparkle from Boucheron jewels and the result is pure, confident chic with a nod to cinematic history.

Fringe benefits, with a leather twist
Vicky Krieps is usually a bit of a wild card on the red carpet—which is half the fun. But this time she was more considered. The Luxembourgish-German actress wore a custom Bottega Veneta leather dress that picked up on the fringe detailing we first spotted earlier on Julianne Moore’s premiere look. The craftsmanship was there, and the edge was unmistakable. The Intrecciato Curve sandals, though? Not my favourite. They felt a little too clunky. But the Bottega Veneta Alchemy earrings and Drop Bracelet added a refined gleam to the textured leather.
This was an ode to Bottega’s signature codes delivered through two very different women who know how to own a look.
