If you think Boston is a great place to visit in the fall, the city needs your vote, as it’s in the running to be the best place in the country to take in the season.
The city was nominated as part of USA Today’s 10Best best places to visit for fall. It was the only Massachusetts location to be named a nominee on the list.
The website teamed with an expert panel to identify the country’s best places to visit in the U.S. during fall for its beautiful scenery, fantastic weather and wealth of seasonal activities and events.
Now, 10Best readers have the opportunity to vote for their favorite place among the ones nominated.
The website said Boston’s highlights “include the three-day Head of the Charles Regatta, where 11,500 rowers race down the Charles River, while Sam Adams Brewery, Time Out Market and Harvard Square all host their own Oktoberfest festivals.”
It also recommends readers to stroll down the Charles River Esplanade or through the Boston Public Garden to enjoy the changing leaves. Additionally, it recommends sampling the fall oyster haul and seafood at spots like The Banks or Little Whale Oyster Bar.
