On July 24, 2025, WPSO deputies arrested Timothy Charles Pittman on one count of possession of schedule 3 with intent to distribute and two counts of introduction of contraband to a correctional facility.

After discovering cell phones and narcotics during a search of the jail, further investigation revealed that the contraband had been retrieved from a nearby medical center while an inmate was there for medical treatment after being left there by Pittman. A warrant issued for his arrest, and he was apprehended at his Bogalusa residence shortly afterward with assistance from the Bogalusa Police Department.

Bond was set at $30,000, and WPSO jail records indicate Pittman was released on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
