Bodycare confirms 30 more UK shops to close - all locations

The latest closures come on top of the 32 announced a few weeks ago and include locations such as Bolton, Salford, Skipton, Shrewsbury and Hull.

It comes as the retailer appointed administrators from Interpath on September 5, saying it had come under pressure from rising costs and a shortfall in funding, which also impacted supplier relationships and led to stock shortages.

Administrators said it was no longer viable to keep all the stores open due to stock shortages and operating costs.

At the time, Bodycare announced it was shutting 32 stores, resulting in around 450 redundancies.
