The stock market’s rebound from yesterday’s lows continued on Wednesday with help from some key Big Tech stocks.
The S&P 500 was up 0.5%. The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.9%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 74 points, or 0.2%.
U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta on Tuesday released a set of remedies in the Google antitrust case that avoided outcomes feared by Wall Street. Alphabet will still be able to pay Apple to make Google the default search provider on its devices, and the firm won’t be forced to sell its Chrome web browser.
