The ITV reality show introduced four new housemates in Tuesday’s (September 30) episode, after Emily Hewertson was evicted on the first day.
One of those four was George, a 23-year-old parish councillor from Braintree.
He wanted to go on the programme to “meet people from different walks of life and to get the opportunity to chew the fat with them”.

Discussing what he thought he would bring to the house, George explained: “I’m always happy to play devil’s advocate and I will contest people’s views on things.
“I’ll definitely be exercising that element of critical thinking. But also, I feel like I’m quite good at cracking a joke – I will be the life and soul of the party.”
George seems to have lived up to that promise, as quite a few Big Brother viewers were not particularly impressed with his behaviour.

Big Brother fans call for George to be evicted
George had a few moments where his comments about other members of the house were not well-received.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) one person wrote: “15 minutes in and he’s already food shamed somebody, commented on the fact their eating sugar, and said all the girls in the house ‘look and think the same’. Get. It. Out.”
Another said: “my god george is f****** insufferable can we do another back door eviction tonight too.”
A third posted: “George is the first insufferable housemate of the year (other than the evictee) but I think that’s actually a good thing lol I wasn’t sensing any carnage.. until now.”
Meanwhile, another wrote: “He’s so fake. We don’t need somebody trying to play a character for the cameras.”
In defence of his inclusion, a few viewers said he was needed to make the series a bit more interesting.
One person commented: “No. Keep. Him. In. We need actual entertainment.”

Another echoed those thoughts, saying: “We need to keep him in for the drama”.
A third posted: “He will bring the drama the show needs. Once the public vote him out at the first opportunity it will go back to as boring as it was last night.”
Meanwhile, another said: “Are we watching the same show? George is the most entertaining so far.”
