The third-generation Palm Beach native has made headlines for her philanthropic legacy, prominent family history, but most recently, for her significant relationship with President Trump’s eldest son. But what’s caught the eye of fashion enthusiasts is Bettina Anderson’s quiet emergence as a style icon of the new administration.

The socialite was seen boarding Air Force One in Scotland in July wearing a Carolina Herrera double-breasted plaid coat from the designer’s Fall 2024 runway collection. She paired the high-end, effortlessly chic look with a black Hermès Kelly bag and Adidas sneakers.

Pictured at Charlie Kirk’s memorial yesterday alongside President Trump and Donald Trump Jr. prior to their remarks, Ms. Anderson donned a black skirt suit by London-based designer Safiyaa — a favored brand of the young socialite — paired with a Sue Gragg American flag bejeweled broach.

Opting for Max Mara at the FIFA Club World Cup final match alongside President Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, FIFA’s president Gianni Infantino and Mr. Infantino’s wife Leena, Ms. Anderson gleamed in a crisp white button down and fitted trousers.

Who Is Bettina Anderson?

The charity founder often chooses sleek, tailored silhouettes reminiscent of the quiet luxury trend in lieu of garish colors or loud displays as we’ve seen from past paramours of the political family. Seeming to maintain a private life (Ms. Anderson has not personally spoken to press or given a public interview) despite her very public significant other, the world of politics is not new for the Columbia graduate. Ms. Anderson’s grandfather, the late Harry Loy Anderson, served as president of the Congressional Club in Washington D.C. where he golfed with the likes of President Eisenhower before moving his family to Palm Beach. A division-1 lacrosse athlete and art history major at Columbia, Ms. Anderson formed The Paradise Fund in 2007, a charity for disaster relief.

The famous couple were first seen together in 2024, and it’s believed they have been living together for over a year. Ms. Anderson and her sartorial choices first came into the spotlight around the inauguration, where she wore Dolce & Gabbana’s Marco-houndstooth jacket with a double-breasted profile and matching long skirt.

Throughout the year, she’s continued to appear alongside the president’s son sporting signature loose waves and perfectly tailored sets akin to one seen on their New York City outing in July where Ms. Anderson chose Saiffya’s Yui Jacket in Radiant Red and matching Yuki Skirt.
