Bayern Munich happy with Serge Gnabry’s play

According to a report from Tz’s Vinzent Tschirpke and Mano Bonke (via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is satisfied with the play it is getting from Serge Gnabry at the No. 10 position, which has — once again — shifted the focus back to acquiring a versatile attacker:

Serge Gnabry’s recent form playing behind the striker has somewhat eased the transfer market for Bayern. Instead of looking for a player who will fill Jamal Musiala’s #10 role until the latter returns at the end of the year, the profile of a backup for the attacking line of Gnabry, Olise and Diaz is now considered ‘enough’. The likes of Jadon Sancho (Manchester United), Fábio Vieira (Arsenal) and Marco Asensio (PSG) are considered candidates.

All three players mentioned have quality, but all three come with some baggage as well. Sancho is someone who Bayern Munich has had interest in previously and who is also very eager to get out of Manchester United.

Bayern Munich got off to a red-hot start this season and we are thrilled with the early returns. With the end of the transfer window coming up, there is still much to discuss, so let’s not waste any more time.
