Atlantic Crescent Wembley shooting: Two men charged

Police were called to Atlantic Crescent, Wembley Park, on Sunday (September 21) at 5.27am to reports of a shooting.

Three days after the attack, an 18-year-old boy continues to fight for his life in a life-threatening condition.

He was in the vicinity of South Way and First Way and was later found unresponsive outside Crystal Club.

Rafael Reveane Rodriguez, 39 of Middleton Road in Morden, has been charged with attempted murder on Wednesday (September 24).

Dennis Gambrah, 32, of Dressington Avenue in Lewisham has also been charged after being arrested on Tuesday (September 23).

Rodiquez will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court and Gambrah will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (September 25).

Six more people have also been arrested in connection with the incident.

A woman in her 20s was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of assisting an offender but has since been released with no further action.

Police also arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the same offence on Wednesday (September 24) and he has been released on bail.

Four other men, in their 20s and 30s, were arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of assisting an offender.

They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
