Reese was dressed in a stunning two-piece ensemble by American designer Thom Browne. The WNBA standout’s looks reflected this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” Her outfit featured a cropped suit jacket with lace-accented sleeves, a corset-style waist, and a long skirt with a dramatic train, an homage to both structure and elegance. Completing the look were bold rings, sparkling earrings, and old Hollywood glam makeup that gave her presence a timeless edge.
On the red carpet, Reese was asked to describe her look in three words. “Versatile. Chic. Classy. Tailored. Tea,” she said, summing up her vibe.
Fans lit up social media the moment her photos dropped. Many were quick to compare this year’s outfit to her 2024 debut, with several noting that her Thom Browne look this time around raised the bar even higher.
In her own words to Vogue, Reese said, “It’s always been both: basketball and fashion,” Reese shared. “But I was a fashion girlie from young too. Like—let me find this picture my mom sent—I was always in my mom’s closet, putting on her stuff. I liked to carry a purse. Hair done. I wanted to look put together. I still do.”
She even recalled practicing her walk, watching America’s Next Top Model, and dreaming of moments like this.
Further, Reese, alongside rapper and songwriters Megan Thee Stallion and Doechii, were seen trying out dishes at the Met Gala.
