Doha played host to one of the region’s most anticipated fashion moments last night as the 7th annual Fashion Trust Arabia Awards took place at the National Museum of Qatar. HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, FTA’s Honorary Chair, attended the ceremony, joined by Co-Chairs HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani and Tania Fares, who welcomed leading figures from the global fashion community alongside emerging regional talents.
The evening opened with HH Sheikha Moza awarding the first prize of the night to Saudi designer Ziyad Albuainain, winner of the Evening Wear category.
The full list of 2025 winners included:

Representing this year’s Guest Country, India, the Guest Country Award went to Kartik Kumra, further highlighting FTA’s commitment to cross-cultural creative exchange.
Two major honorary distinctions were also presented on the night: the Lifetime Achievement Award to Miuccia Prada, recognising her transformative impact on contemporary fashion, and the Trailblazer Award to Zuhair Murad, honouring his role in shaping and elevating Arab couture on the global stage.
Following the awards, all eyes turned to the red carpet, where the Fashion Trust Arabia Awards once again proved its status as a true global fashion moment. Members of the international fashion industry – from editors like Globale Editorial Director of Vogue Dame Anna Wintour, to designers including Daniel Roseberry, to supermodels such as Gisele Bündchen, Tyra Banks, and Farida Khelfa – were joined by regional style leaders including Karen Wazen and Dana Hourani.
The atmosphere only grew more electric with a live performance by Saint Levant, closing the night on a high note and affirming Doha’s position as a rising capital in the global fashion landscape.
