Aspen Fashion Week was full of rustic fashion looks that brought our country dreams to life. The GLOBAL show brought designers from Revolve, Alice and Olivia, Rag and Bone and more together to celebrate unique mountain aesthetic through the lens of global fashion.
Here is a closer look at the standouts from Aspen Fashion Week GLOBAL.
REVOLVE x FWRD
Revolve has cool girl down to a science, and they brought their skills to the AFW runway. Long silk dresses with oversized leather jackets, tiered skirts and leather pants, what else would you expect from this REVOLVE x FWRD collection? Rusty oranges, chocolate browns and baby blues complemented with a pair of cowboy boots and the occasional fringe jacket tied all these looks together and had us looking up mountain vacation destinations.
Rag & Bone
Who says silver pants don’t belong in mountain fashion? Rag & Bone showed off these slouchy silver pants with a cozy turtle neck sweater, proving that comfy and edgy are the perfect combination. Another cozy show stopper was an oversized caramel-colored fur coat styled with some classic blue jeans. Rag & Bone also debuted some sleek but practical menswear looks with denim button ups, fitted pants and jackets that bring the look together.

Max Alexander
Nine year-old Max Alexander brought looks to AFW that prove he is wise beyond his years. These dresses made from up-cycled coffee bags are the perfect mix of rustic and chic. The brown burlap fabric complimented with painted designs and a stunning olive green cape show how sustainability is fashion-forward. If a young kid like Max can bring these gowns to life using recycled materials, I think some high fashion brands might need to take a page from this young runway designer’s book.
alice + olivia
At alice + olivia, you can’t have Aspen Fashion Week without a cowboy hat. These looks are the definition of country chic and the perfect inspiration for your next country concert or festival look. The mix of frill, metal accents and leather in these outfits make a standout display that will be sure to turn heads. The floor-length blue gown embroidered with wildflowers and mushrooms is our pick for the star of this show, paired with a cowboy hat adorned with some feathers and chunky silver bracelets.
Kiton
Kiton brought a level of class to the Global show, showing how urban style luxury can fit into a mountainside destination. Fur-lined coats, plaid blazers and quarter zips from Kiton are the way to go for understated elegance this season. Keeping within the theme of autumnal colors, this collection displayed beautiful oranges, greens and taupes, prepping us for a beautiful fall season ahead.
Aspen Fashion Week’s Global show is the blueprint for this fall and winter season. It’s almost time to pull out our fur coats, boots and sweaters, and hopefully this runway show gave you a plethora of ideas on new inspiration for styling cool weather staples.
