Which celebrities will be in NOLA for the Super Bowl? | Entertainment/Life

The countdown to the Super Bowl has begun, and, as always, it will be an event jam-packed with celebrities.

Last year, stars like Justin Bieber and Paul McCartney were in attendance. 

And if you managed to score tickets, you might be seated next to this year’s roster of celebrities. Here’s a list of who will be in town.

Kendrick Lamar

Though it will be Kendrick Lamar’s first time headlining the Super Bowl, he made a special appearance during Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s half time  performance in 2022. 

SZA

The R&B singer-songwriter will join Kendrick Lamar for the Super Bowl half time show. The two artists share several songs like “All the Stars” and recent release “luther.”

Jon Batiste

New Orleans icon Jon Batiste is set to perform the national anthem for the game.

Lauren Daigle

Lauren Daigle, a Louisiana native and Christian singer, will perform “America the Beautiful” with Trombone Shorty.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift will be back in New Orleans, just a few months after her three-day stint at the Caesars Superdome, cheering on her longtime boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Cardi B

Headlining for the Victory Fan Fest, Cardi B is set to perform at the Spanish Plaza on Feb. 8 in a carnival-themed party, dubbed “Cardi Gras.” Doors open at 12 p.m. and the concert starts at 3 p.m.

Jelly Roll

Grammy-nominated star Jelly Roll will perform alongside Stapleton at the Madden Bowl.

Shaboozey

The country, hip-hop star will also be making an appearance at Orpheum Theater for the Madden Bowl.

Trombone Shorty

In addition to joining the “America the Beautiful” performance, New Orleans sensation Trombone Shorty will be at the Madden Bowl on Feb. 7. 

Tucker Wetmore

Among the stars headlining this year’s Madden Bowl is Tucker Wetmore, a country singer and songwriter.

Diplo

Diplo performed at the after party for Super Bowl L VIII, and this year he will bring the turntable to Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Tailgate on Feb. 9 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The tailgate will take place at Mardi Gras World. He will also DJ at the Sports Illustrated The Party on Feb. 8 from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Dom Dolla

Dom Dolla will headline the Sports Illustrated The Party with Diplo on Feb. 8. 

Anderson .Paak

On Feb. 7, Anderson .Paak will perform at the FanDuel Party Powered by Spotify. The location for the invite-only party has not yet been released.

Megan Thee Stallion

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion will also be performing at the exclusive FanDuel Party Powered by Spotify.

Blink-182

The pop-punk band Blink-182 is one of several headliners at the FanDuel Party Powered by Spotify.

Travis Scott

The One Party by Uber has invited Travis Scott to take the stage on Feb. 7 at the Second Line Stages. The time has not been announced.

Shaquille O’Neal

In a hybrid circus, carnival, concert, Shaquille O’Neal is hosting his annual party, Shaq’s Fun House at Mardi Gras World on Feb. 7. 

Ludacris

Ludacris will perform at Shaq’s Fun House, which will occur from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.

John Summit

John Summit will be headlining Shaq’s Fun House ahead of the Super Bowl, though it’s not his first time performing at Mardi Gras World.

Dierks Bentley

The famed country singer will headline Fred Minnick Live on Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. at the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District Hotel.
