Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday said the country had “full confidence” it would hit its growth targets for the year, state media reported, as he met heads of major international economic organisations in Beijing.
“China has full confidence to achieve this year’s economic growth target and will continue to play its role as the biggest engine of world economic growth,” Xi said, according to news agency Xinhua.
