Jellystone Parks Go All-In on Pet-Friendly Amenities for 2026

The Jellystone Park franchise is increasingly becoming “the place” to camp with pets, according to a press release.

“We’re as pet-friendly as we are family-friendly,” said Trent Hershenson, vice president of marketing for Camp Jellystone, the Southfield, Mich.-based company that franchises Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts across the United States and Canada.

With more than 75 franchised locations across the United States and Canada, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts operates in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences.

The Jellystone Park Camp-Resort location in Uniontown, Ohio, between Akron and Canton, recently became the first Yogi Bear-themed campground to feature a splash park just for dogs. But the pet-friendly amenities don’t stop there. Many Jellystone Park locations have dog parks and dog agility courses as well as pet meetup events. Some even have dog wash stations and RV sites with private fenced-in areas.

This is in addition to the many Jellystone Park locations that have pet-themed weekends with doggy fashion shows, pet parades and pet/owner look-alike contests. Some locations complement their pet-themed weekends with traveling petting zoos and animal adventure weekends.

Here’s a sampling of the pet-themed activities, wildlife activities and special pet-friendly amenities available at Jellystone Park locations across the U.S. and Canada this year:
