Nvidia’s GPU Tech Conference (GTC) kicks off today with a live-streamed keynote address from CEO Jensen Huang. Taking place at the SAP Center in San Jose, Nvidia GTC is expected to focus largely on what’s next for the company’s AI efforts, with Nvidia promising “breakthroughs redefining AI, accelerated computing, and the future of technology.” The whole thing starts promptly at 2 p.m. ET (11 a.m. PT) and is set to run through 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT), and we’ll be live-blogging every major announcement right here.
What to expect from Nvidia GTC 2026
Nvidia is by far and away the biggest hardware player in AI right now, providing the infrastructure that serves as the backbone powering offerings from companies like OpenAI and Anthropic. The preview of Huang’s keynote from Nvidia is relatively vague, but we’re likely to hear all about new technologies Nvidia is preparing to ship in its GPUs for industry partners. At GTC 2025, Nvidia announced an open foundation model for humanoid robots and an AI partnership with General Motors. Expect similar announcements this year, and we’re sure Huang will have some surprises up his leather sleeves.
