As part of this year’s BBC Children in Need, teams across BBC Local Radio are being asked to complete a 1,000-mile (about 1,600km) swimming challenge to help raise money.
Afternoon presenter Shay Kaur Grewal is part of the BBC Radio London team and has been training with Team GB triple Olympic medallist and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Tom Dean.
Shay and other swimmers will be taking part in the challenge this week until 8 November.
