Anthropologie is offering an extra 50 percent off sale items, which is just about the best deal you’ll find at the retailer. Semi-rare for an Anthropologie sale: The apparel section is very well stocked. I spotted lots of fanciful collars, sweaters, and things for horse girls.
Sale items are an extra 40 percent off at Madewell with the code SALEONSALE through November 11. The best offerings are jeans, sweaters, and accessories like socks and purses. (Purses rarely go on sale at Madewell, so if you’ve got your eye on one, get it now.)

At J.Crew, most sale items are an additional 50 percent off with the code EXTRA. Most of the offerings are quite summery, but this striped cardigan is delightful (and in season). Everything at J.Hannah is 20 percent off through November 10 with the code KEEPSAKE. Comedians Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer both count the Loop hoop earrings as something they can’t live without. “You almost forget they’re on,” Jacobson says. “I feel put together even if I’m not.” Jacobson’s recommendation convinced Glazer to get her own. “I actually don’t like earrings, but they’re so light, I don’t even take them out to sleep,” Glazer adds.
