On Saturday night (November 1), passengers travelling on an LNER (London North Eastern Railway) Doncaster to London train were attacked in a mass stabbing.
Eleven people received treatment in hospital following the attack, and two British men in their thirties were initially arrested.
Anthony Williams, 32, from Peterborough, was charged today with 10 counts of attempted murder, while the other man has been released with no further action.

The train made an unscheduled stop at Huntingdon station in Cambridgeshire shortly after the attack took place, which caused disruption to services.
National Rail shared that Great Northern services between London Kings Cross and Peterborough were impacted over the weekend, while LNER routes through Lincoln, Doncaster, Leeds, Bradford Forster Square and Harrogate also faced disruption.
Alongside that, an Avanti West Coast train travelling from Glasgow to London has derailed near Shap in Cumbria today (Monday).
The 4.28am service came off the tracks at around 6.10am, with there being approximately 85 passengers onboard, plus train staff.
Police have confirmed no casualties have been reported, while four people suffered minor injuries.

In a message on social media, LNER shared that they expected to run as normal today, but still advised customers to check their journey details.

Meanwhile, due to Huntingdon station still being shut there is continued disruption on Great Northern Line trains.
Passengers are advised to use rail replacement buses if travelling between Huntingdon and Peterborough and vice versa.

If passengers are looking to travel from Huntingdon towards London, the operator shared: “Please use rail replacement buses to St Neots and change for onwards train travel.
“The journey by bus takes 25minutes and these buses are running half hourly. Please allow additional time to travel.”
If people are travelling from the direction of London/Stevenage to Huntingdon, then alight at St Neots and take the rail replacement bus from there.
