We’ve seen the women shine in Armani, but now it’s the men’s turn in the spotlight. At the 2025 Academy Museum Gala on Saturday night, the Italian fashion house once again reminded us why it remains the gold standard for refined menswear — delivering quiet confidence, precision tailoring, and timeless sophistication in every stitch.
Pinstripes, polish, and peak precision
The one thing you can always rely on when it comes to Eddie Redmayne is that he’ll serve you all the details — it’s the former model in him. While he doesn’t wear Giorgio Armani often, his Made to Measure charcoal grey double-breasted pinstripe suit suggests he should start doing so more frequently.
Strength meets sophistication
I was equally intrigued by Dwayne Johnson’s Giorgio Armani black two-button shawl collar tuxedo in a refreshingly new silhouette for him. The jacket looked practically airbrushed on, with a fit so clean it could’ve been sculpted.

Going tonal
Jude Law and Tyriq Withers each embraced Armani’s elegant restraint. Jude’s navy shawl-collar tuxedo oozed suave maturity, while Tyriq brought a more relaxed ease that still hit every formal note.
Bow-Tied
George Clooney stayed true to his timeless aesthetic in classic Armani, though it’s a shame his equally elegant plus one, Amal, wasn’t there to complete the picture.

Benny Blanco scrubbed up beautifully in a Giorgio Armani midnight blue double-breasted velvet suit — marking his first red carpet appearance with his wife, Selena Gomez. Meanwhile, Robert Downey Jr. radiated charm in his Armani tux, his smile perfectly matching the sparkle of Susan Downey’s black sequin and silver crystal gown.
It was a night where Armani’s mastery of menswear met Hollywood’s best — a match made in tailoring heaven.
