Storm Amy London: Met Office issues wind warning

Storm Amy is set to hit the UK on Saturday, bringing strong, gusty winds to large parts of England and Wales.

As a result, a weather warning for wind is in place across the capital tomorrow (October 4) from 12am until 7pm, with wind speeds reaching up to 55 miles per hour, and highs of up to 65 miles per hour in some areas.

Saturday is set to begin mostly dry with some sunny spells, although outbreaks of rain are likely in some areas, turning windy throughout the afternoon.

However, weather conditions are likely to improve on Sunday, with sunnier spells expected.
