George is currently appearing in the latest series of Strictly and is best known for his YouTube and TikTok fame under the name George Clarkey, as well as hosting The Useless Hotline podcast with Max Balegde.
Paired with new pro, Alexis Warr, George earned praise from judges after his American Smooth in the first show of the series, earning a score of 24.
Following the launch of the new series of Strictly, many new fans of George have discovered the YouTuber’s famous father.
BBC Strictly star George Clarke has a famous dad
George’s dad is Sean Clarke, the managing director of Aardman Animations, who is behind some of the UK’s most beloved characters.
Best known for creating Wallace and Gromit, Aardman Animations has been behind the likes of Shaun the Sheep, Chicken Run, Morph, Timmy Time, and Flushed Away.
Sean has worked his way up at Aardman since joining the company in 1998 and now oversees the entire business.
In 1998, Sean was brought on as Head of Consumer Products after previously working at Disney UK.
Back in June, Sean shared with The Times how George’s online success had encouraged Aardman to rethink how it should adapt for the future.

George discussed claims of being a nepo baby while streaming on Twitch, sharing: “What kind of sick joke is this?”
