Fans have been on the lookout for the brand’s Galaxy Orange Vegan Dairy Free Chocolate bar for months now.
However, those not in the know will be left utterly disappointed by the news that the chocolate bar has not been sold in the UK since last year.
Mars discontinues “fantastic” and absolutely beloved Galaxy chocolate bar
Discussing the Galaxy chocolate bar on Amazon, where it is also no longer available, one customer said: “Got this for a family member who is dairy-free, they are reasonably priced and honestly taste so good you wouldn’t think they are missing dairy!
“A fantastic buy and for anyone who is dairy-free or has dairy-free friends or family members, I would recommend!”
Another wrote: “Bought this as a little gift for a loved one, it is super smooth and delicious, with a nice orange undertone that is not overpowering, all without needing any unethical dairy!
“The bars are thin but have a large footprint, with 10 large segments each, which seem a bit big, but they taste fantastic, making them fantastic for vegans and non-vegans alike!”
A third person penned: “I loved this chocolate, lovely and creamy. The trouble was it was so good it didn’t last very long. I dare not buy any more for a while, it plays havoc with my diet.”
Mars has been approached for comment about the discontinuation.
Fans rave about the return of the M&S chocolate tin that’s ‘better than Quality Street’
This discontinuation comes as chocolate lovers were treated to some good news with the return of M&S’s Big Mix Tin, which is selling for £12 ahead of the festive season.
This is said to rival Quality Street, the named brand it appears to draw inspiration from.
According to the M&S website, the tub is full to the brim with chocolate-covered toffees, caramels and creams.
Fans of the “old style” tubs were excited by the news, with many responding to a post on the popular Snack Reviews page on Facebook.

One person said: “Looks ok to be fair… Quality Street has massively gone down in taste, packaging, etc. £12 for a big tin too… these might be the new go-to Christmas chocolates.”
Another added: “Add these to my Xmas list too, please. They look delicious and good value.”
